China now Worlds No.1 exporter

Data showed this Sunday (January 10) that China is now the world’s top exporter after passing Germany. China raised total exports in 2009 to $1.2 trillion, ahead of the $1.17 trillion forecast for Germany. Even though China overtook Germany as top exporter, the customs agency said total 2009 Chinese trade fell 13.9 percent from 2008. (The Associated Press)
